Night-Time Tours

The Night Time Tours are starting back up in March for any young person aged 13+. The aim of the programme is to run an activity bases drug prevention programme which will highlight to the participants the realities of drug and alcohol abuse in a multi activity learning programme, while at the same time introducing the young people to a healthier form of entertainment. In the past, the young people who participated went to different organisations to achieve these aims, places they went included the Dublin Fire Brigade, Districts Courts, Focus Ireland the Garda Station. At the end of the programme the young people then participated in a fun activity such as Go-Karting to show the benefits of getting your ‘buzz’ in a positive way.
This year we hope to achieve the same aims. The programme will start in March and will finish up in April. If you know any young person from the Pearse Street area who would be interested in part-taking please contact Orla in the Youth Office on 01-6771930.
