St Andrews Resource Centre is pleased to announce a new course in parenting. If you are the parent of a young child, you may be interested in the following topics that will be covered:
1. Tuning into children/pressing the pause button
2. Child centred communication and play/ teaching children how to behave well
3. Encouraging and supporting children/ the power of attention
4. Establishing routines using rewards and picture charts/gaining co-operation from children
5. Helping children learn through play and reading books/dealing with misbehaviour using consequences
6. Creative play activities/ parents caring for themselves.
