Trinity College and its Neighbours- Local Heroes?- A Lecture Series

St. Andrew's Resource Centre, in association with Trinity College Dublin, is proud to present a series of five lectures exploring the links between Trinity College and its neighbours. Over the course of five nights throughout November the series, entitled "Trinity College and its Neighbours. Local Heroes?", will see academics and historians investigate five topics of local relevance and interest.

The papers, all held in St. Andrew's Church, Westland Row, will start at 7pm on every Thursday evening throughout November.

 

The papers are entitled:

Thursday 1st November: Daniel O'Connell and Merrion Square- Professor Patrick Geoghegan- TCD

Thursday 8th November: King Sitric and the Thingmote- Professor Terry Barry- TCD

Thursday 15th November: James Joyce and St. Andrew's Westland Row- Mr. Justice Adrian Hardiman

Thursday 22nd November: The First Dubliner- Professor Sean Duffy -TCD

Thursday 29th November: Alice Stopford Green and St. Stephen's Green- Professor Ciaran Brady- TCD
